| Description: | Responsible for a variety of routine shipping tasks in preparation for order fulfillment including identifying information on incoming or outgoing shipments with purchase orders, invoices, or other documents, packing, and coordinating with customers and carriers. Maintains all documentation and record keeping of all transactions. Main contact for all shipping inquiries and processes with shipping team |
| Duties: | • Ensure equipment pulled matches the invoice prior to packing for shipment
• Properly pack equipment to ensure a damage-free shipment.
• Ensure invoice shipping instructions comply with company packing and shipping policies and procedures.
• Generate shipping labels, bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing slips, international shipping documents, SED/EEI, and other related shipping documents.
• Prevent loss of company assets due to mismanagement or theft in the packing and shipping department through compliance to company security policies and procedures.
• Identify discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor.
• Operate equipment including fork lift, pallet jack, dolly, Insta-Pak, etc.
• Records shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability.
• Reports damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record-keeping purposes.
• Follows established departmental and safety policies, procedures, and objectives.
• Maintain, organize, and clean work area.

| Qualifications: | Required Qualifications & Skills
• Above average interpersonal, oral, written, computer, coordination, multi-tasking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail and quality oriented.
• Must have own reliable transportation.
• Must live within a reasonable commute to the Howell Mill corridor.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Required Education
High school diploma or GED and 2 or more years of experience.
